On the flight day (FD) 15, aboard the space shuttle Endeavour, the STS-127 Mission crew carried out the shuttle's heat shield inspection known as "late inspection" using Space Shuttle's robotic arm (SRMS) and the Orbiter Boom Sensor System (OBSS).

Activities for FD16 include:

  • Deployment of two small research satellites
  • Standard de-orbit preparations, including the crew cabin stow, the flight control system (FSC) checkout, thruster firing test, Ku-band communications antenna stow
