Mission

STS-123 Mission Crew arrived at NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC) / Countdown started toward the March 11 planned liftoff.

Astronaut Takao Doi and his STS-123 Mission crewmates arrived at KSC Landing Facility at 01:21 a.m. on March 8, 2008 EDT (15:21 p.m. March 8, 2008 JST) in preparation for the launch scheduled on March 11.

On the same day, STS-123 Mission's countdown has started at 3:00 a.m. EDT (17:00 p.m. March 8, 2008 JST). The countdown clock is now ticking toward the planned launch time.

Space Shuttle Endeavour's launch is officially set for 2:38 a.m. on March 11, 2008 EDT (15:28 p.m. March 11, 2008 JST). NASA Weather Officer said that KCS's weather is preferable with a 90 percent chance of acceptable conditions at the scheduled launch time.
