Mission

STS-123 (1J/A) Mission Launch Date Announced

The STS-123 Mission Flight Readiness Review (FRR) was held on Feb. 28 through Feb. 29, 2008. During the FRR, all the open items that were reported during the preparation processes of the space shuttle system (including Endeavour, External Tank (ET) and Solid Rocket Booster (SRB)) and the status of payloads were thoroughly reviewed.

Following the review, flight readiness and healthiness of the Endeavour, the ET and the SRB was confirmed; subsequently, the launch of the STS-123 was approved.

The launch of the Space Shuttle Endeavour is now officially targeted at 02:28 a.m. on March 11, 2008 EDT. (15:28 p.m. March 11, 2008 JST).
