First-ever Commercial CubeSat "G-SATELLITE", Handed over to JAXA (January 9, 2020)

On December 5, 2019, G-SATELLITE, to be the first commercial CubeSat from the ISS Kibo, was delivered to JAXA at Tsukuba Space Center by Space BD Inc., who is one of the first commercial entities to provide CubeSat deployment service from Kibo.

Satlantis delivered a payload "iSIM" to JAXA for foreign private company's first i-SEEP mission in early spring 2020 (December 27, 2019)

On December 16, 2019, Space BD Inc. delivered the payload Integrated Standard Imager for Microsatellites (iSIM) to be mounted on Kibo's Exposed Facility (EF) as a IVA-replaceable Small Exposed Experiment Platform (i-SEEP) payload to JAXA at the Tsukuba Space Center.

Guatemalan first CubeSat delivered to JAXA (December 27, 2019)

On December 3, 2019, the CubeSat "Quetzal-1" designed and built by students and researchers of the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala (University of the Valley of Guatemala) was delivered to the JAXA at Tsukuba Space Center by the satellite development team.

UAE/Japan camera robot educational project on Kibo (December 12, 2019)

Mr. Hazzaa Ali Almansoori, the first astronaut from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), gave an educational lecture on the Japanese Experiment Module (JEM) "Kibo"/ISS on September 30, 2019, using the internal camera drone (Int-Ball). The lecture was on the attitude control for spacecraft. The astronaut gave some demonstrations on "Kibo."
