The encapsulated KOUNOTORI6 was transferred from the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) to the Launch Pad 2 (LP2) in the Tanegashima Space Center (TNSC).
From June 1-2, the operations for loading the ISS battery Orbital Replacement Units (ORUs) into the H-II Transfer Vehicle KOUNOTORI6 and filling the water bags were unveiled to the press at the Tanegashima Space Center (TNSC).

The KOUNOTORI5's hatch closure was confirmed at around 0:29 a.m., September 28 (3:29 p.m., September 27 UTC).
