KOUNOTORI6 completes the first Phase Maneuver（December 10, 2016）
KOUNOTORI6 completed its first Phase Maneuver (PM1) at 6:03 a.m., December 10. Our next update will be December 12.
KOUNOTORI6 establishes three-axis attitude（December 9, 2016）
KOUNOTORI6 has successfully established three-axis attitude at 23:24 p.m., December 9. KOUNOTORI's system self-checks are ongoing in preparation for its first phase adjusting maneuver (Phase Maneuver1: PM1).
KOUNOTORI6 initiates communications with Tsukuba (HTV MCR) （December 9, 2016）
KOUNOTORI6 has successfully established communications with the NASA's Tracking and Data Relay Satellite (TDRS) and then initiated communications with the HTV Mission Control Room (HTV MCR) at the Tsukuba Space Center (TKSC).
KOUNOTORI6 separates from the H-IIB Second Stage（December 9, 2016）
Separations of the Solid Rocket Booster (SRB-A), the Fairing, and the H-IIB First Stage occurred as planned. The H-IIB Second Stage burned out approximately 15 minutes after the launch, and KOUNOTORI6 was successfully separated from the H-IIB Second Stage. Then, the KOUNOTORI6 was inserted into the planned initial orbit.
KOUNOTORI6/H-IIB Lifts Off（December 9, 2016）
The H-IIB launch vehicle lifted off at 10:26 p.m., December 9. The H-IIB launch vehicle continues ascent toward orbit carrying KOUNOTORI 6.
H-IIB/KOUNOTORI 6 Launch Preparation Update（December 9, 2016）
At the Launch Pad 2 in the Tanegashima Space Center (TNSC), the H-IIB launch vehicle's final preparation continues toward the scheduled launch time of 10：26 p.m., December 9. Launch countdown is scheduled to begin at 9:26 p.m., one hour before launch.
