CERISE In-flight Experiment Completed (November 30, 2009)

CERISE, an experiment that investigates effects of microgravity on nematode C. elegans, which has been performed in the Cell Biology Experiment Facility (CBEF) onboard Kibo, was completed.

MAXI Acquired All-sky X-ray Image (November 26, 2009)

Monitor of All-sky X-ray Image (MAXI), which is deployed and operated on Kibo Exposed Facility (EF), successfully acquired an all-sky X-ray image in the shortest time. It was the fastest all-sky X-ray image acquisition ever achieved by any other existing X-ray observation equipment.

Rad Silk experiment successfully completed! Embryonic development in the silkworm eggs confirmed on orbit! Data relating to the space radiation exposure effects on early embryonic development stage of the living organism obtained! (November 25, 2009)
