KOUNOTORI4 Reaches 10m Below the ISS(August 9, 2013)

KOUNOTORI4 arrived at a point 10m below the ISS at 8:10 p.m., August 9. Ground controllers confirmed that KOUNOTORI4 is positioned within the "Capture Box." KOUNOTORI4's thrusters have been disabled.

KOUNOTORI4 arrived at 500m below the ISS (RI point) at 6:07 p.m. August 9. From the RI point, KOUNOTORI4 will slowly and accurately move closer to the ISS, at the approach speed of 1 to 10 meters per minute, while adjusting its position using the Rendezvous Sensor (RVS).
