Installment of the surface potential sensor, Advanced Technology On-orbit Test Instrument for space Environment-mini (ATOTIE-mini) for the first time for HTV

ATOTIE-mini location

    Technology accumulation utilizing HTV as a test bed.

  • Data acquisition to see the change of the surface potential of HTV before and after its berthing to the ISS, and whether the surface potential affects Extravehicular Activity (EVA).
  • On-orbit testing of the surface potential sensor developed by JAXA.
Continuous improvement of convenience as the cargo transfer vehicle

  • Use of cool box, etc.
Use of the ULC for an exposed hardware disposal.
