At 6:02 p.m. on August 9, installation of the Japanese Multi-mission Consolidated Equipment (MCE) has started by the Kibo's robotic arm, Japanese Experiment Module Remote Manipulator System (JEMRMS).

The MCE will be installed to port #8 of the Exposed Facility Unit (EFU) of the Kibo's Exposed Facility.
