At 4:09 p.m. on August 6, removal of KOUNOTORI3's Exposed Pallet (EP) by the Space Station Remote Manipulator System (SSRMS) has begun.

Later, the EP wil be captured by the JEM Remote Manipulator System (JEMRMS) and installed to Kibo's Exposed Facility (EF). There are two experimental hardwares on board the EP, Japanese Multi-mission Consolidated Equipment (MCE) and NASA's Space Communications and Navigation Testbed (SCAN Testbed).
