KOUNOTORI2 Completes Third Height Adjustment Maneuver

KOUNOTORI2 performed the third Height Adjustment Maneuver (HAM2) at 2:22 p.m., January 27, 2011.

Once KOUNOTORI2 enters the proximity communications zone (23 km from the ISS), KOUNOTORI2 will establish communications with the Proximity Communication System (PROX) on board the ISS. Then, guided by the relative GPS navigation, KOUNOTORI2 will reach 5km behind the ISS, Approach Initiation (AI) point, at 3:08 p.m., January 27.
