Today's activity of astronaut Doi

Flight Day 12 (November 30 CST)
Scott MS answered an interview
Yesterday, mission managers decided to pass up the re-deployment of the Spartan satellite. This decision was made by NASA to ensure the completion of the USMP experiments and to protect the shuttle's propellant margins. Today the crew focused their attention to completing the microgravity science experiments of the STS-87 mission.

Today, Mission Managers have announced that a second, five-hour spacewalk will be performed on Wednesday. The objectives of this spacewalk will be to refine some techniques using the crane to move orbital replaceable units (ORUs) and to carry out the originally planned test of the AERCam Sprint.

During an interview with an American television station, Astronaut Winston Scott said that if another EVA should be scheduled, he and Takao are ready for it.
