Astronaut Doi will participate in the contingency EVA training at NBL,
and also he will operate a simulated crane at a facility which is called
Air Bearing Trainer. November 12, 1997
He will participate in a simulation training using the fixed base Shuttle
Simulator. From this day, he will stay at crewquarters called the quarantine.
Meal time, sleep/wake cycles will be adjusted to prepare for the mission. November 13, 1997
He will participate in a simulation training for the entry of the Space
Shuttle using the shuttle simulator. November 14, 1997
He will participate in a simulation training for the ascent of the Space
Shuttle using the shuttle mission simulator. November 16, 1997
STS-87 crew will fly to Kennedy
Space Center. November 17~18, 1997
The crew will conduct final preparation for the launch. November 19, 1997
Launch of the Space Shuttle Colombia
will be at about 14:46 pm EST. |
