Today's activity of astronaut Doi

Flight Day 7 (November 25 CST)
Doi MS answered a
special call

Astronaut Doi, who yesterday successfully conducted a 7 hour 43 minute extravehicular activity, and the STS-87 crew woke up at 1:46 p.m. CST and began Fight Day Seven activities.
Today, mission specialist Scotts and Doi finished stowing the tools and equipment they used during yesterday's spacewalk and filled out questionnaires designed to capture their early thoughts on the evaluations they performed.
Though the crew had free time for three hours, Doi was so busy with the above work that he could not take the time to watch the Earth and stars.
He received congratulations on his work and mission at 2:51 a.m. CST on Nov. 26 in a special 15 minute call to Columbia from Sadakazu Tanigaki, Minister of Japan's Science and Technology Agency, and Tomifumi Godai, vice president of the National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA) .
