interview from CNN

Doi MS statred off the halfpoint of the STS-87 mission by conducting microgravity experiments using a special glovebox facility in the middeck. Today, the Particle Engulfment and Pushing by a Solid/Liquid Interface experiment was conducted to study the behavior and movement of particles in a solidifying sample of a composite material. After lunch, the Wetting Characteristic of Immiscibles experiment, aimed to learn how to control the moisture during the formation of metal alloys in order to make better, more stronger alloys.

Doi MS answered an interview from CNN television, and when asked what he was thinking during the capture of the SPARTAN satellite, he replied that he was focusing on getting it right.

The international crew members of Colombia celebrated the American holiday, Thanksgiving day with a traditional turkey dinner.
