The reentry of the H-II Transfer Vehicle KOUNOTORI9 (HTV9) into Earth's atmosphere was confirmed.
KOUNOTORI9 performed three de-orbit maneuvers for reentry into Earth's atmosphere.
Captured by the SSRMS, KOUNOTORI9 was moved to the releasing point below the station and released into orbit.
KOUNOTORI9 was unberthed from the nadir port of Harmony (Node 2) by the SSRMS at 10:51 p.m., August 18.
The KOUNOTORI9 hatch closure was confirmed.
This EVA was the eleventh and final work of the battery replacement mission started in January 2017.
On May 25, 2020, videos taken by the camera installed on the H-II Transfer Vehicle "KOUNOTORI9" (HTV9) were successfully transferred to the ISS using wireless LAN (WLAN) in the vehicle's upward approaching phase for capture.
