The reentry of the H-II Transfer Vehicle KOUNOTORI8 (HTV8) into Earth's atmosphere was confirmed.
KOUNOTORI8 performed three de-orbit maneuvers for reentry into Earth's atmosphere.
Captured by the SSRMS, KOUNOTORI8 was moved to the releasing point below the station and released into orbit at 2:20 a.m., November 2.
KOUNOTORI8 was unberthed from the nadir port of Harmony (Node 2) by the SSRMS at 10:45 p.m., November 1.
The KOUNOTORI8 hatch closure was confirmed at around 1:51 a.m., November 1.

The Exposed Pallet (EP) of KOUNOTORI7 was installed into KOUNOTORI8 Unpressurized Logistics Carrier (ULC) at 11:12 p.m., September 30.
The Common Berthing Mechanism (CBM) between KOUNOTORI8 and Harmony was fastened with bolts at 0:08 a.m., September 29.
The ISS crew opened the hatch of KOUNOTORI8 at 4:10 a.m., September 29 and entered the Pressurized Logistics Carrier (PLC) at 4:14 a.m., September 29.
All cables between KOUNOTORI8 and Harmony were connected. The berthing operations of KOUNOTORI8 were completed at 2:55 a.m., September 29.
