ISS Crew Briefing on SSAF2013 (March 8, 2013)

Thai and Malaysian student teams perform parabolic flight experiments (January 18, 2013)

Parabolic flight experiments of Asian students were conducted in Nagoya, Japan, December 26 and 27. Thai and Malaysian teams were selected by NSTDA of Thailand and ANGKASA of Malaysia respectively.

"Try zero G" junior scientist visits Tsukuba Space Center (December 3, 2012)

An Australian school girl, who proposed a subject to the Try Zero G program, visited Tsukuba Space Center of JAXA on 27th November 2012.

LAPAN demonstrated microgravity experiment at Space Science Festival 2012 (November 2, 2012)

The Bandung branch of LAPAN, National Institute of Aeronautics and Space of Indonesia, held the annual Space Science Festival* 2012, October 20th. In this festival, JAXA made the presentation on the microgravity science and demonstrated short time microgravity experiments using miniature drop tower.

Winners of Space Seed competition in Malaysia (October 29, 2012)

National Space Agency of Malaysia (ANGKASA) conducted a student space experiment competition called "Asian 'KIBO' Mission: Malaysia Space Seed (AstroSeed)". The finalists and the winners of the competition were announced on the occasion of "5th anniversary of Malaysian Astronaut Program" held on October 20.

Status of the candidates for the parabolic flight experiments by Thai and Malaysian students (October 26, 2012)

ANGKASA(Malaysia) and NSTDA(Thailand) selected the parabolic flight experiment teams. Now, students are making intensive efforts to prepare for the interface confirmation meeting which is scheduled in early November.

Status of Try Zero G 2 (October 4, 2012)

Try Zero G is the JAXA's educational program in the International Space Station (ISS). It allows the public, especially young students, to suggest scientific observations or physical tasks for JAXA Astronauts to demonstrate the difference between 0 G and 1 G for educational purposes.
