Kibo-RPC News: JAXA briefed with NASA astronauts about the 1st Kibo-RPC (February 14, 2020)

As part of the preparation for Kibo-RPC, JAXA gave an overview of Kibo-RPC to two NASA astronauts, Astronaut Christopher John Cassidy and Astronaut Stephen Bowen.

Report from Space Environment Utilization Working Group (SEUWG) at the 26th APRSAF, in Japan (January 22, 2020)

The 26th session of the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-26) was successfully convened in Nagoya, Japan from November 26 to 29, 2019. The Space Environment Utilization Working Group (SEUWG) was co-chaired by Dr. Damrongrit Niammuad from GISTDA and Ms. Shiho OGAWA from JAXA.

Report from Kibo-ABC Workshop at the 26th APRSAF in Japan (January 22, 2020)

The Kibo-ABC workshop, co-chaired by Mr. Mohd Helmy Hashim from MYSA and Mr. Fumiaki TANIGAKI from JAXA was held on November 25 in Nagoya, Japan. It was organized under the Space Environment Utilization Working Group (SEUWG), and the 26th session of the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-26). Thirty-two participants from eighteen organizations in ten countries/region attended.

Conducted simulation verification test of Kibo-PRC! (December 24, 2019)

JAXA conducted a simulation verification test of Kibo-PRC from November 12 to 15, 2019, in collaboration with NASA's Ames Research Center (ARC). The simulation cleared each test item successfully.

A CubeSat ('SpooQy-1') developed by students of the National University of Singapore (NUS) was launched to the International Space Station (ISS) aboard the Cygnus NG-11 cargo vehicle on April 17, 2019 from the Wallops Flight Facility.

Malaysian Material Exposure Experiment Started On-orbit ISS! (June 14, 2019)

Researchers from the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and the National Space Agency of Malaysia (ANGKASA) launched an experiment to the International Space Station (ISS) via SpaceX Dragon CRS-17 cargo spacecraft.
