On May 3 (JST), the space shuttle Discovery rolled out from the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) to the launch pad 39A. The PM and JEMRMS were loaded into the shuttle’s payload bay on May 5 (EDT). On May 6, (EDT), the STS-124 Mission crewmembers flew to KSC for the STS-124 prelaunch rehearsal.
The canister carrying the STS-124 payloads, Kibo’s Pressurized Module (PM) and Remote Manipulator System (JEMRMS), arrived at the launch pad April 29 (US Eastern Daylight Time: EDT).

The mission’s fourth extravehicular activity (EVA#4) was carried out today by STS-123 mission specialists Robert Behnken and Mike Foreman.
