H-II Transfer Vehicle KOUNOTORI (HTV)

KOUNOTORI4 was moved to the VAB

On July 20, the encapsulated KOUNOTORI4 was transported from the Second Spacecraft and Fairing Assembly Building (SFA2) to the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB). KOUNOTORI4 was installed onto the H-IIB launch vehicle.

In the VAB, KOUNOTORI4 was mated with the H-IIB rocket #4. Afterwards, late access cargo loading into the Pressurized Logistics Carrier (PLC) was started.

KOUNOTORI4 is scheduled to launch on August 4.
