MAXI Discovers New X-ray Nova in Centaurs

The Monitor of All-sky X-ray Image (MAXI) team discovered a new X-ray celestial body in the Centaurs constellation on October 17, 2010, through the image data captured by the MAXI. This is the second nova discovery by the MAXI following the discovery of J1659-152 on September 25, 2010.
