On the flight day (FD) 10, the crew conducted the EVA#4 and continued changing the batteries on the P6 truss, part of which was deferred task from the EVA#3.

The EVA#4 began at 10:54 p.m. July 24, and lasted for 7 hours 12 minutes.

The EVA crew removed the remaining four old batteries on the P6 truss, and installed four new batteries that were delivered on the Integrated Cargo Carrier - Vertical Light Deployable (ICC-VLD).

These batteries store electric power generated by the Solar Array Wing (SAW) and provide power during eclipse.

After the EVA, the ICC-VLD, with the six old batteries stored on it, was retrieved to the space shuttle Endeavour's payload bay.

Activities for FD11 include:

  • Full off-duty day for the crew

*All times are Japan Standard Time (JST)
