Today's activity of astronaut Doi

Flight Day 13 (December 1 CST)

Doi MS answered an interview.

Flight day 13 started off with a song dedicated to "Japan's real Ultraman", the theme song for a Japanese SF TV series titled "Ultraman". At the end of the song, Astronaut Doi told the CAPCOM that it was just yesterday that he was looking at the star cluster where Ultraman came from, and he was very happy to hear the song.

Astronaut Doi spent a busy day aboard Colombia, preparing for tomorrow's second spacewalk and conducting ozone layer observations.

The customary in-flight crew press conference was held today. Press from the United States, Japan and Ukraine asked the crew various questions. When Astronaut Doi was asked about his reaction to the decision to have a second EVA, he replied that he is very excited to have another chance to do a spacewalk, and that he will do his very best.
