Space Food

Space Food

Dining on the ISS

Space foods are the foods served to astronauts staying in space for missions on the International Space Station (ISS).

Space foods have special roles other than physical ones of maintaining astronauts' health. A variety of tasty space foods may reduce mental stresses, refresh and help maintain and enhance human performance. In this regard, space foods should meet the requirements such as safety, long storage, high-degree hygiene and no risk during consumption.
