STS-95 crew members left Johnson Space Center for Kennedy Space Center.
They arrived at KSC around 3:00pm (EST), one hour later than scheduled
time, but in safe.
Upon arrival, each member briefly expressed their hope of the space flight
to their immediate family and a lot of media people. Astronaut Chiaki Mukai,
Payload Specialist 1, spoke "I appreciate your great support. I am
ready to go to space," in both English and Japanese. Astronaut Stephan
Robinson, Mission Specialist 1, reached his 43rd birthday today.
Crew members and people there cerebrated him singing the song "Happy
Birthday."
L-3 countdown started on 8:00am today. Launch preparation at KSC continues
on schedule.
