Due to major floods in Thailand, we had to wait until the flood subsided before distributing the seeds to the students on January 11, 2012.
There are seventeen schools receieved the seeds from the hands of the Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology at the Siam City Hotel in Bangkok..
The event held by NSTDA and they were many dignitaries including JAXA representative in Thailand and newspersons attended.
Both the Minister and the NSTDA director wore the astronaut jumpsuits specially designed for this event.
There were about 100 people attended the event and generated more than 20 publication news.
Since the seeds will take at least 3-4 months to grow, we do not expect to receive the reports from the students until end of May 2012.
