The Asian "Kibo" Mission Planning Task Force of APRSAF SEU WG has examined proposals submitted by students for the parabolic flight experiment, and consequently selected two teams for the upcoming flight operation this month.

One of the teams awarded this opportunity comes from Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology (UniKL MIAT); the other comes from Mahidol University and King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) in Thailand.

In late February, engineers from Japan visited the schools to verify their preparation status and gave advice on final improvements.

Their flight experiment operation will take place on the 26th and 27th of March 2012 at Nagoya Airport in Japan.
