KUOA staff visited Indonesia and Malaysia
Meeting at ITB
In March 2012, KUOA staff travelled to Indonesia and Malaysia for scientific and technical arrangements. In Bandung, Indonesia, they attended a joint seminar by Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN) and JAXA to discuss future plans and prospects for space biology research utilizing Kibo/ISS.
Similar topics were also discussed with scientists and engineers from Malaysian Agriculture Research and Development Institute (MARDI) and National Space Agency of Malaysia (ANGKASA) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
