The 20th Space Station utilization workshop

In physical year 1998, on Jun. 30 and Jul. 1, 1998, a two-day workshop was held in Tokyo.

In this 20th workshop, foreign space development organizations participating the ISS program first reported their activities. Discussions were then held on themes such as the JEM utilization scenario, JEM experiment operation technology, and the system for recruiting ground research themes. A total 704 people attended the workshop.

Ideas and opinions received from the participants will be input to the space station utilization study, conducted by the Space Environment Utilization Committee of the National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA).
