The sixth Area PADLES dosimeter was launched onto the ISS by Soyuz TMA-04M (30S). A total of 17 Area PADLES dosimeters were installed, 12 in Pressurized Module (PM) and 5 in Experiment Logistics Module-Pressurized Section (ELM-PS).
The sixth dosimeters that were newly installed and uninstalled measured the dose of about six months.
JAXA astronaut Satoshi Furukawa who was on board 27S installed and uninstalled the Area PADLES 6 dosimeter in Kibo.

On June 10, 2011, JAXA astronaut Satoshi Furukawa carried Area PADLES dosimeter frome 27S to Kibo.
To install Area PADLES dosimeter in Kibo was the first job for him on ISS.

JAXA astronaut Furukawa handed over Area PADLES dosimeter to Cosmonaut Anatoly lvanishin, and then he reported to ground control team.
JAXA astronaut Furukawa has opened about living of ISS on his twitter, including space radiation research.
