Kibo PM arrival in USA

The Kibo Pressurized Module (PM) arrived at Port Canaveral adjacent to NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Florida at 6:00 a.m. EDT, May 30. It had departed from Yokohama Harbor, Japan on May 2.

After the arrival, the PM was transported to the Space Station processing Facility (SSPF) in KSC.

In the SSPF, the Multi-Element Integrated Test-III (MEIT-III) which is to verify system functionality and interface compatibility between the PM and the connection module, Node 2, will be conducted in late August.
