CERISE, an experiment that investigates effects of microgravity on nematode C. elegans, which has been performed in the Cell Biology Experiment Facility (CBEF) onboard Kibo, was completed.
Monitor of All-sky X-ray Image (MAXI), which is deployed and operated on Kibo Exposed Facility (EF), successfully acquired an all-sky X-ray image in the shortest time. It was the fastest all-sky X-ray image acquisition ever achieved by any other existing X-ray observation equipment.
