MPAC&SEED Retrieved from Kibo Exposed Facility (April 10, 2010)

The JEM/MPAC&SEED, a material exposure experiment package installed in the SEDA-AP operating on Kibo Exposed Facility (EF) since last July, was removed and brought inside of the ISS.

Neuro Rad Experiment Begins (April 10, 2010)

Biological Effects of Space Radiation and Microgravity on Mammalian Cells (Neuro Rad), which uses the Cell Biology Experiment Facility (CBEF) in Kibo, began aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

JAXA Education Payload Observation (EPO) "Dewey's Forest" was completed.

Nanoskeleton Experiment Completed (March 15, 2010)

Production of High Performance Nanomaterials in Microgravity (Nanoskeleton), which uses the Cell Biology Experiment Facility (CBEF) in Kibo, was completed. When the samples are returned to the ground, the Nanoskeleton team will perform sample analysis to evaluate effects of gravity, and will determine the optimal condition for production of a high performance Nanoskeleton material.
