In Kibo, JAXA Astronaut Furukawa has started the second 'Production of Two Dimensional NanoTemplate in Microgravity (2D-NanoTemplate)', and deployed Area PADLES for monitoring the cosmic radiation environment of fixed points in Kibo.

Results of CERISE Experiment Officially Released (April 28, 2011)

Results of the CERISEexperiment, which aimed at investigating effects of microgravity on nematode C. elegans, which was performed using the Cell Biology Experiment Facility (CBEF) in Kibo, will officially be released.

"Message in a Bottle" Returns to TKSC (April 28, 2011)

JAXA Education Payload Observation (JAXA EPO) "Message in a Bottle", which was performed during the STS-133 mission's spacewalk, was returned to the ground aboard the return flight of the STS-133. When the bottle arrived at JAXA, it did not contain vacuum of space as it expected. It seemed that the bottle was damaged during shipping.
