  • Nickel hydride batteries currently used on the ISS will be replaced by the lithium-ion batteries delivered by KOUNOTORI.

  • Due to Launch failure of Soyuz MS-10, HTV7 mission is changed to not reinstall the EP on ULC.

  • Assemble HTV Small Re-entry Capsule (HSRC) Part 1
    • Unpack and assemble pressurized bulkhead (top board and cylinder) for HSRC, inside the Pressurized Logistics Carrier (PLC)

    • Store collected samples in the HSRC container at “Kibo”
    • Install the separation mechanism onto HSRC and temporarily attach HSRC to the pressurized bulkhead
    • Combine HSRC with the pressurized bulkhead
    • Connect the pressurized bulkhead with cables
    • Install HSRC with pressurized bulkhead onto the hatch of HTV PLC
  • Preparation for the HTV Unberthing Operations
    • IMV de-activation
    • Switching of the communications line (Fixed line to radio wave)

    • Deactivation of HTV power supply from ISS
    • Disconnection of power and communication line
    • HTV grapple by the SSRMS
    • CBM bolts release

    • SSRMS releases HTV
