Aboard the ISS, the ISS crew members began removal operations of the Exposed Pallet (EP), which was temporarily attached on the Kibo's Exposed Facility (EF), at 6:15 p.m. on February 7.

After removing the EP from the EF by the JEM Remote Manipulator System (JEMRMS), the EP will be handed off to the station's robotic arm (Space Station Remote Manipulator System: SSRMS). Then, the SSRMS will stow the EP into the KOUNOTORI's Unpressurized Logistics Carrier (ULC).

The Cargo Transport Container (CTC) and the Flex Hose Rotary Coupler (FHRC), which were carried on the EP, were removed from the EP by the DEXTER (Special Purpose Dexterous Manipulator (SPDM). Then, those unpressurized ORUs were attached to the Enhanced ORU Temporary Platform (EOTP), a temporary stowage platform of the DEXTER, on February 4, 2011.
